First Edition. A fine copy of this classic of Modern book design. It’s closing pages with ‘BONSOIR’ and ‘MERCI’ appearing on a film strip image ‘effectively suggested the transformation of the printed page into a projection screen.’ (Andel, p. 292). Includes what is likely the original glassine.
