First Edition. A manual for drawing and colouring topographical maps by F.C. Maria, a professor of mathematics and topography. The first plate is of particular appeal being an attractive guide to the colours and tints to be deployed in delineating various topographical elements.
OCLC locates 6 copies in the US at Boston University, Harvard, Princeton, Ohio State, The Newberry and University of Chicago. Wrappers with some minimal toning and edge wear, some scattered foxing, else a near fine copy in its fragile original wrappers with an inscription from the author on the half-title.
