Three examples of E. McKnight Kauffer’s brilliance as a graphic designer, here in the form of dust-jackets from the 1920’s. American by birth, Kauffer (1890-1954), spent the majority of his active career in London and was best known for the posters he designed for the London Underground. The dust-jackets suffer from some chipping with minor loss, still good examples on books that would have been used for reference.
