First Edition, A rare Czech book on the application of stage makeup illustrated with 18 chromolithographs that border on the surreal.  Includes instructions on aging a male actor with makeup and even how to depict a gunshot wound to the head!  Jaroslav Pecháček [1909-1984] started his career as commercial artist and art teacher eventually becoming an author of moderate success.  

Worldcat finds one copy at the National Library of the Czech Republic.  Paper spine professionally restored ownership stamp and signature on the front fly-leaf and title.  Overall very good.
